Time to Downsize
We all know that the cost of fuel is skyrocketing and it doesn’t look promising that things will calm down any time soon. A few years ago, Dave and I decided that because the cost of everything was going up, we would make a huge change and start downsizing. We sold all of our assets and purchased a beautiful 33-foot fifth-wheel trailer, and a big Ford F350 Diesel truck, and headed out for the open road. What we needed next were the foldable electric bikes.

Ready to get some electric bikes
What we realized after a few months was that it was quite inconvenient to rip into town with a huge truck all the time. We decided to take our motorcycles out of storage and use them during the warmer months and the truck in the winter. Fast forward to today’s date where the fuel costs are even more absurd than we ever imagined.
We parked the motorcycles and hopped on the foldable electric bikes
It has effected our decision to now park the motorcycles in favor of something a little bit lighter on the wallet. We decided to get some electric bikes! Not just any e-bike though. When my hubby does research, he really gets into the meat of things. We chose what we think may be the best e-bike on the market for full time RV travelers.

The foldable electric bikes are so convenient and fun!
When we first set eyes on our new bikes we couldn’t believe how crazy it was that they fold up into such compact little units and when unfolded have some incredible power! The Vituvia foldable electric bikes have the most power for the price. Let’s get into why we chose these electric foldable bikes and why the other 3 bikes are fantastic options as well. Prices quoted are in US and may vary depending on where you live.

Foldable E-bikes fit
I have to say that I think the best thing about having an e-bike is how it fits into our life. We are able to store ours with ease as we travel. They are really fun to ride on trails or to the grocery store. They are worth the little bit higher price to give you the convenience of pedal assist.

Even the puppy loves the electric bike
The puppy fits in a basket on the back of my bike so I can always take her along. We are in love with the fact that we can exercise more frequently and get outdoors by just hopping on the bikes. There are ample trails everywhere we go. I hope this information helps you in your decision making. If you decide to get yourself an e-bike, just enjoy the ride! Oh, and by the way, they go fast…so don’t forget the helmet!
Keep your electric bike safe
These new e-bikes are a very hot commodity so do not forget a top-of-the-line locking system. We recommend this one. There is no perfect lock out there as anyone that wants your stuff will try their hardest to get it. Just be aware of your bike at all times and thwart the thieves with something. I better get rolling…Dave and Sadie are waiting. We’re hitting the trails. See you next time. Shannon
